The Medical Assistant will prepare patients for the health care visit by directing and/or accompanying them to the examination room, verify patient information by interviewing patient, reviewing and/or recording medical history, taking vital signs, and confirming purpose of visit or treatment. Enter information into patient medical records.
Supports patient care delivery by helping health care providers during examinations, preparing laboratory specimens, performing basic laboratory tests on the premises, disposing of contaminated supplies, sterilizing and cleaning medical instruments, exam rooms and common areas, administering medications oral and IM on the premises as ordered by the physician , drawing blood, preparing patients for testing, changing dressings, applying DME and many other medical assisting functions.
Candidate must be a multi-tasker with advanced computer and organizational skills along with the ability to work independently while prioritizing responsibilities in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Armistice Urgent Care is seeking a part time Radiology Technologist to perform high quality radiology procedures in support of patient care treatment plans. Candidate will also assist in providing medical care for our patients. The schedule needed for this position is as follows: Fridays 5:00pm-9:00pm, Sundays 9:00am-5:00pm, and every other Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm. Weekends include a $2 shift differential. Responsibilities include taking X-rays, obtaining patient histories and discharging patients. Certification and Rhode Island License required. We offer an excellent work environment. All safety measures have been put into place to make sure you as a member of our team stays safe while being able to service our patients.
